Sorry to here that Bobby has passed away, we knew the stallion really well. I saw him after he had been born, i knew the breeder really as well Henry Webb. Bobby had a superb temperment and was a good stallion. R.I.P Bobby from Tony Higgs& Family of the Bowbells stud www.freewebs.com/bowbellstud

Goodbye Bob, Although you scared the shit out of me, i am glad i had the chance to know you. The yard will not be the same and It is going to be very strange when i visit to feed the goats and your nodding head will not be over the door looking at me. RIP soldier.Love Carina xxx

Saturday 18th August 2007 was   a very sad day having to say goodbye to Chugs Lightning Bobby (bob) when he had to be put to sleep
Bob was a very special stallion and was in a league of his own with his kind ways & temprement, in the many years we have owned him he has never let us down & would always try to please
Bob used to love showing & would always give it his best in & out of the ring, all who had the pleasure of knowing him loved him as he did them
It has been a great pleasure & we feel privilaged to have owned Bob who was well known in the welsh showing world where he competed in many county level shows and has been in hand champion & reserve champion many times


As my candle, burning bright
Sends Bob off on this dark night
It offers peace, and hope and love
To the horses dancing up above.

My prayers and thoughts will help them find
Beloved friends they left behind.
So they may comfort us in turn,
And thus it is my candle burns.

With quiet tears, lovingly shed
I hear the horses, overhead.
Their pounding hooves are thunder stirred,
For another friend has joined the herd.
The joy you gave in times gone by,

dear friend, companion and ally.

You were an ear to listen in times of need,

how fortunate was I for such a steed.

Your name continues in those you sired,

a memory of you to be admired.
A time to leave.

There is a time when horses die,

and also a time for you and I.

To wish one day that we shall be,

all together in tranquility.

But for the choices we must make,

the life of a horse we sometimes take.

When all that fails to make them well,

it is hard to say a fond farewell.

But we can choose to end their pain,

when for us it is a waiting game
